Access Copyright Foundation, an arm’s length foundation of Access Copyright, is now accepting applications for its 2026 round of Events Grants funding.
The Foundation’s Events Grants program is ideal for organizations planning festivals, reading series, conferences, professional-development opportunities or other activities that aim to celebrate the literary and/or visual arts in Canada. If that sounds like something your organization is doing or that you are helping to organize, we encourage you to apply for an Events Grant through SK Arts’ application portal. The Foundation’s grants programs are administered by SK Arts.
Applications will be accepted until November 1 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

Important eligibility information about Access Copyright Foundation’s granting programs
For over 15 years, Access Copyright Foundation has supported the work of creators, member service and advocacy organizations as well as publishers across Canada. As the Foundation continues this work, it wants to make sure its grant programs provide the widest and most equitable opportunity to those communities the Foundation serves.
As a result, the following eligibility guidelines are in place:
- Applicants may be awarded a maximum of two Foundation grants within a 24-month period;
- Successful grant applicants must wait two years before applying for another grant in the same category. For example, an individual or organization that was awarded an Events Grant for 2025 will be able to apply again in 2027.
